Robotic Assisted General Surgery
Minimally invasive surgery.
During robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci surgical system, Dr. Harden makes several small incisions which means minimal scarring. While sitting at a console next to you, dime sized surgical instruments are placed inside the patient through tiny incisions. A very small high definition 3D camera gives Dr. Harden a magnified 360 degree view of the operative field.
Dr. Tara Harden, M.D.
When you need surgery, you want to get through it so you can get back to your everyday life. We want that for you too!
The da Vinci Robotic surgical system gives Dr. Harden an advanced set of instruments to use in performing robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery. The tiny wristed instruments move like a human hand, but with greater range of motion.
The robotic system translates your surgeons hand movements at the console in real time. The da Vinci vision system delivers highly magnified 3D high definition views of the surgical area.
